Our Story
Once upon a time, in a middle school far, far away…
First Try: Our story is very unique and starts in a middle school in South Florida. We went to the same middle school and would ride the bus home together whenever I would stay at my dad’s house. Although he would leave me mix tapes and secret admirer notes, we didn’t date this time around and soon after I would move to a new city and high school.
“Want to be my plus one?”
Second Try: Our story picks back up when our paths realigned during a poster sale at the colonnade at the University of Florida our sophomore year. We quickly added each other on Facebook and I asked him to be my date to an organization function. He asked me to lunch and gave me this beautiful handmade necklace and earrings from New Mexico for my birthday. Then our lives separated again after a semester of getting involved in different organizations.

Third times a charm: Fast forward Eric moving to California, and me moving to North Florida after graduation. I made a resolution to visit a new city every month for 2015; I just wanted a travel companion to share these experiences with. Eric randomly commented on an instagram photo I posted of some delicious food in DC after 3 years of just liking each other’s social media posts. So I took a chance and asked him out. I wrote, “I feel like we should travel together.” He responded, “Hey stranger. Where do you want to go?” Now I am married to my travel buddy and wander continues to find us wherever we are together <3
